1. 41% sounds about right.

When you add up conservatives, plus people who are socially liberal but fear "communism", plus all the people deluded by the mainstream media.

Still last time I checked 41% is a minority of the country. Why is the House preparing to repeal something supported by 59% of the population?

They just know it is bad. I have had older people (who I assume are on Medicare) seems genuinely confused when I question their socialized Medicare.

13. It's known as rule or tyranny by the minority.

We have been suffering from the same here in California. When you demand 60% or two-thirds majority in passing laws, then the minority can throw a chink in process as has happened in our Legislature and the last session of Congress. It also affects the electoral college. The Republicans like it because historically they are a smaller Party than the Democrats, so it gives them an edge in screwing up everything the Democrats try to do for the country.
