For the First Time in the History of Humanity....God Watched a Football Game.
That's right, this was his first....regardless of what you hear from every player after every game.

And he rooted for Nebraska.

Fuck You Penn State !

4. Yeah, because ALL the Penn State players raped little boys in the shower, right?
:eyes:

Nice broad brush you're carrying there.

And if God didn't care about football before, she still doesn't care.

7. Wouldn't have cared if they did.
I'm not inclined to defend Paterno in the slightest, but what is making me a little ill is the broad brush attacks against the entire team.

17. Where were the Penn State fans protesting the rapist?
Or the people who covered for him?

Yeah, I didn't see them, either. Just lots of signs supporting all of the above.

People who support the pedo and his enablers deserve all the misery life can bestow upon them.

GO BIG RED!

12. For the next six months we would have been reading about mouth-breathing inbred southerners.
Who do nothing but turn left, waste gas, and molest little boys.

The outrage over that would have far exceeded the shelf-life of Paterno State.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, someone would have researched the political affiliation of every owner, driver, and crew member.

13. I don't really give a rat's about football but
they should have cancelled this game after what happened. For years and years frickin' FOOTBALL was more important than the safety of these victims. They need to address that blind allegiance in this organization.

25. I don't believe the players on the Penn State team had any involvement ...
Is it fair to punish them for the failure of the coaches, the college administration and quite possible the police?

18. The current players support what happened in the past
Why do you think they announced plans to take the winning game football to good ol' Joe if Penn State won?

Seriously, get all the facts before you depend child rapist cheerleaders.

31. actually, I would have loved to see something from them that was
a little more than WOE IS ME! MY SENIOR DAY IS FUCKED UP!

Everyone at PSU carries this burden even if it isn't just. But then, child rape isn't just either.

15. No. It was a clean game, the fans were fine, and everything went
as well as it could have. the players on the Penn State team had nothing whatsoever to do with this situation. It was a close game and Nebraska won. No deity has anything to do with it, nor was any deity watching. There is no deity.

Put blame where it belongs, on those who did the evil and those individuals who covered it up. The team players and the students at Penn State had nothing to do with it.

29. All of them? Were they?
Edited on Sat Nov-12-11 08:20 PM by MineralMan
I don't think so. A few did that. A few fans do almost anything you can imagine, on any given weekend. This crime was not done by a football team or a University. It was done by individual men. Screw the idea of condemning people who had nothing to do with it. I won't do that.

24. That's what strikes me the most
It was an absolutely normal game in State College. The players on both sides were great, and the fans were great, too.

As much as some of the drooling lynch mob wanted this to be some additional spectacle to feed their outrage addiction, it was anything but. A solid, and even exciting football game.

Indeed, I was actually impressed by the PSU team, since I would have expected them to get trounced by Nebraska. They were very good, especially on the defensive side.

22. What's really odd about this whole thing
is this is the same board, where, a few weeks ago, Anwar Al-Aulaki should have had a trial.

The trial hasn't even started in this case yet. I guess so long as you get a trial, it's just for show.
