Congresswoman openly states that GOP trying to destry economy
and everything else they can to make Obama look bad so they can win. I have never been so determined to fight for his re-election.

"She says Republicans are deliberately hurting America just to oust Obama. Make sure everyone you know sees this!"

2. Unless they put forth a much better candidate than we are seeing now, they
can forget gaining the WH. By the look of Ohio the other night, they may well lose control of both houses as well.

5. So what can we expect if we have the presidency and control of both houses? More of the same?
The WH is more interested in busting medical marijuana dispensers than helping the 99%.

However, one has to believe that we are better with an Obama President than one of those other idiots.

Lawsuits to delay the seating of the majority Democratic congress to make us less able to complete a Democratic agenda. Followed by filibustering and anonymous holds.......all the while complaining that the Democratic congress and President Obama are just lame ducks.

28. So you are saying that the Democrats, even in the majority, just cant get it done? That's why we
have people in the streets protesting. The republicons dont want to help the 99% and the hapless Democrats just cant quite help, either. You know of course that both sides are taking money from the same corporations?

35. Yes but it seems that the Democrats "help" isnt enough. They are sponsored by the 1%
and, even though they help more, they arent helping enough. We need an FDR not a conservative in the WH.

The people in the streets are not just mad at the republicons, they are pointing out that the system is rotten to the core.

41. Rhett sounds like a plant to me!!
That's the same crap I hear from the GOP when Obama tried to reach across the isle
and the GOP blocked him at every attempt to work together.

Then they turn around and say he didn't accomplish anything when he had the majority.

Same as when The Newt and McCain said he should have gone into Libya sooner.

then

the GOP told them to say that he didn't ask for permission first.

You GOP are dinosaurs and your headed for the heap in 2012!

I just love to watch the recalls. It warms my heart to see them crash!!!

Joke:

You may be a died in the wool Repuke if:

THIS PISSES YOU OFF!!!

Go back and watch some FOX PROPAGANDA!!!!

43. Part of our problem is that some of you think this revolution is between the Democrats (the good guy
and the Republicons (the bad guys). Sure that makes it real easy for you doesnt it. Dont have to think just see what letter comes after their name. You see the Democratic party, admittedly much better than the republicons, still on the whole represent the corporations. Those in the streets arent protesting the republicons but the system. But that's too complicated for some. They just want it to be D vs. R. Well you are falling right into the 1% trap. And the best answer you got is to call me a republicon.

Our President has surrounded himself with conservatives and is spending more time bashing heads of medical marijuana sellers than trying to get GE to not send jobs to China. Oh yeah, his best pal, Jeff Immelt is the CEO of GE. Is Obama on the side of the 99%? Are you on the side of the 99%?

47. O.K. so, let's keep Bernie and go from there.
Yes, congress is bought and the Supreme Court is bought.

The reason I focus on the Repukes is that they are
doing nothing for the American people just to get
Obama booted out. Their job is to make life better
for all Americans and they're doing nothing.

I say, start with a Democratic majority. If there are Dems who
are suspect then vote out the incumbents and get in someone
fresh. Then we can ask for change and get something started.
This Citizens United thing is a total sell out to business
and the GOP (or as you might say, to ALL those who are
bought) but we have to start with a small group of incumbents
that know what they're doing or we'll end up with a bunch of
freshmen who are running around with their heads cut off (or
even worse - like the Tea Baggers).

Now I hear you but I think Obama will make less conservative
decisions when we give him a Democratic congress. Then, if
he stays too far right we can pressure him to loosen up
because he'll have no reason to try to "reach across the aisle."
At least some of the Dems are trying to make change but the GOP
is just voting with their party. That's why I focus on them as a
group.

39. yeah, but we need to have a clear majority in both houses
to see if they will defend the greedy status quo or aid main street. If they do the same old shite, then it might be time to think of cleaning out the "new democrats" or a new party.

I might add that little boot's and his greedy band of sycophants did a swimming job of destroying the economy. As the boulder started rolling down hill, we needed major economic changes, not little increments that slowed it down a little instead of stopping it.

repugs and some democrats would sell all of the people in this country to garner support from the favorite global greedy corporation. All of that flag waving and flag pin wearing, to me, is just for show. Most could give a shite if the whole infrastructure was falling down, as long as, they keep the unruly plebes in line and make more profits.

40. well, I thought outing Brewster Jennings
which was monitoring WMDs, would have been treason. But, if there is a self interested agenda, especially if it involves money or more war, there are some in our government who seem to forget that country should come before business. As a matter of fact, I no longer even consider them americans. Oh, and the US chamber of commerce, it would be nice if they'd remove the "US" part of it, because it seems that they'd whore for any foreign global corporate entity, even if it badly affected our country and our people.

Well - they consider it their property, to exploit and use for money, but that's it. They only care about their money and themselves. They are psychopaths. They're not normal. They don't have the same emotions that we do. You can't expect them to act like mentally healthy human beings.

7. It's bad enough that they're openly doing this,
openly saying that their goal is that Obama be a one term president, but I know some young people who believe that it's always been this way. They consider this "Politics as usual", that the opposition party has ALWAYS openly wanted the newly elected president to have only one term.

This is not only a problem of youth (if you're only 22 you won't recall all that much of very many election cycles) but a failure of learning any history.

36. I'm thinking very specifically of a conversation
I had about a week ago with a pleasant young man, a co-worker, who kept on saying, "I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative" and seemed to think that doing away with Social Security is okay, didn't get that the changes in tax rates over the past generation are almost the single cause of our deficits, although he did get that not funding wars is a very bad thing.

But he really thought that each election cycle is characterized by the determination of the party not on the White House openly vowing to make the current president a one-termer. It was scary, because I could all too easily see this man voting Republican because he'd think they have sensible ideas to balance the budget, and not notice that people like him are going to pay the lion's share.

scheme of things, and understanding what he is faced with, I'm not at all. It's the larger picture here that keeps things in perspective for me.

Give him not just a majority of Democrats in the House and Senate, but *PROGRESSIVE* or *LIBERAL* majorities, and we'll get the Progressive Revolution that we're yearning for. But if people insist on reelecting charlatans like Ben Nelson and Max Baucus, we'll continue to suffer.

He tried to be gracious and extend a hand across the isle

and he wasted time - but he tried.

I think many more people are behind Obama because of the
GOP doing NOTHING for this country for such a long period of time.

If the middle class Repukes would just wake up and see that this
country is ruled by special interest and that the GOP is their
biggest supporter I would hope that they would switch over.

What needs to be said to wake them up???

No, the plan to destroy is much bigger than Obama. The PTB want governments to fold and

They are hobbling the horse, so to speak.
