Reason magazine on Occupy - disgusting
Occupy Wall Street Is Not an Altruistic Movement
Occupiers should stop pretending they know whats best for everybody else.

Mike Riggs | November 16, 2011

Of all the chants and slogans to come out of Occupy Wall Street, none stinks more than We are doing this for you.

We're doing this for you...love us back, protesters in New York chanted at the NYPD last month. Were doing this for you! Po-lice are the nine-ty nine percent!

Were doing it for your generation, Occupy Portland protesters told a little girl as she wandered through the crowd interviewing people on Nov. 1.

What a load of shit - and the comments are no better than those one finds on Yahoo boards.

2. The RW is so mean, just broken deliberatly obtuse selfish blobs
So OWS "Pretends" it knows what others want. Deliberately obtuse, as if the movement is broken like them. Emphatic people want all others to be healthy, safe and fed and a shot at some form of the American Dream.

3. The Occupy movement is against financial corruption.
Unlike Libertarians (Reason magazine) who try to impose their philosophy on others (Grover Norquist).

4. "Reason" magazine? That's hysterical.
More Orwellian-speak from the party that brought you "compassionate conservatism".

8. ugh
The culture around Reason reminds me of Scott Adams. Hateful white dudes who are way less smart than they think.

7. "and it is certainly no match for a police officer's pepper spray" WTF???
Reason has always been trash. Cowardly wannabe authoritarians too afraid to go balls-in with the RW psychopaths, so they mask their turds in some faux-principled stance while making an abomination of libertarianism.
