Healing the Uninsured - Dr Oz show highlighting the uninsured in this nation

Saw an episode of Dr. OZ today that is highlighting several patients who do not have insurance including one woman with breast cancer who did not have insurance and therefore did not get care.

One of the doctors asks, "how can the richest nation in the world fail to care for it's people"

3. The amount of people not getting proper care in this country is much more than 50 million.

Then number of under-insured individuals that have absolute junk insurance with sky high deductibles and co-pays after the deductibles are met that will result in bankruptcy ensures millions and millions of more Americans do not receive proper and timely care. And for some of them, delaying treatment they would have otherwise sought if the financial burden were not so high is literally a killer.

Our country needs help.
