2. I used BYKI all the time when I was learning Arabic
Not great to use as a standalone, but it's a great supplementary tool.

4. Great for vocabulary acquisition...
...but don't fall into the trap that vocabulary acquisition is all there is, or is even the lion's share, of learning a language.

5. Conjugatiion of verbs being the most critical...
I could definately see unique 'situations' arriving in conversations that warrent them...

6. True, along with other grammatical language features.
I don't see this as being a good way to become conversational, based on my look at it. Good vocabulary drills, though.
